New hide shortcuts menu and search bar code

June 5th, 2008

Let’s see how long this code lasts before myspace changes their coding again :P

Here’s an updated code to hide the shortcuts menu and search bar. (More updates and layouts coming soon). Put it in your About Me:

    I’ve tried to hide the copyright, but it won’t hide.
    The bottom links are gone, so now I have this huge grey box, with only the copyright.

    Hello.
    Your site is amazing, and very useful.
    I was wondering if you could get the code to change the font for your extended network, so it could be different sizes, colors, whatever. Many people that get layouts have it changed already, but for people like me that make their own layouts, I don’t know the code.

    Heyy, so basically I love your site. But I was just thinking of something, that I know I would love and I’m sure other users would too. And that is if you had links to similar codes, when you went to a specific code page. Like, lets say I want to edit my interest section, and I go to the link to have a transparent interests, and on that page, you had quick links to say the pages for extra interest sections, or how to hide the interest headings, you know like similar codes for that type or part of your profile. For someone who doesn’t know exactly what codes they want to use (which is usually alot of us) it’d be so nice, to have a quick way to skip back and forth between the ones. I know you have like 120o39812098 zillion codes so organizing and adding those could be a lot of work on your part, but I thought I’d suggest it. I would definitely love it.

    This has nothing to do with this, but I’ve searched the site and I can’t find an answer. I just made a layout and I used a bunch of your hide codes, but now I can’t figure out why my bold text doesn’t show up. It doesn’t just sit there unbolded, it just doesn’t show the text at all. I’m not sure why this is happening… Do you know of any of your codes that will cause this?

    the code for transparent tables, why doesnt it hide the box where your picture and headline are? it fades it a little, but it doesnt make it disappear like the rest. its not big deal, but i was just wondering.

    Ok, for the comment link, you have it so it says how many comments you have, but blocks the comments.
    Can I have a code for my friends, too?
    So it shows just how many friends I have and hides everything else.

    but i have a slight problem.
    when i hide my extended netword,blogs,& friends.
    and i keep my comments.
    it leaves it hugee space. i hatee it with a purple passion. do you have a code that i can use to fix it? :(

    But it leaves this big empty space at the top of my page.

    umm. i tried the code at the top to hide the navigation bar, but it wouldn’t show the search bar and everything else. i found a better code that shows all that stuff. and it goes at the very bottom of who i’d like to meet.
